Recycled Art Project
Our art project was inspired by the American artist Mike Kelley who created his art piece called “Memory Ware Flat #18” using recycled plastic, wooden and metal household objects. We worked in small groups to create our own version of these art pieces, and then joined them together into a collage which is on display outside our GP Room.

Month of the Holy Souls
In November, we remember……we remember all our relations and friends who have passed away. Everyone in the school had an opportunity to complete a piece of art with the person they were remembering. All the art pieces were put together for display in the church during the month of November.

Working with Clay
We talked a lot about healthy eating in November – the Food Dudes program kicked off, a new Healthy Eating policy was introduced in the school, and we completed a nutrition project in science and SPHE……so we carried that theme into our art lesson! Everyone made a fruit bowl using clay – we were delighted with our masterpieces!
