Partnerships

 

To help us make our European Sports day the best it could be we partnered with European School Sports Day, Spórt Éireann and Be Active.

 

 

 

The school has close links with the Leitrim Sports Partnership.

 

Throughout the year we have partnered with outside

organisations

to provide the children with unique active opportunities.

 

We worked with a soccer coach to provide a 3 week taste of

soccer for the children in the school. It also allows the children to decide whether or not they would have an interest in being a part of the school soccer team or if they would like to join a soccer club outside of school.

 

We are currently working with a Gaelic coach provided by Connacht GAA and he will be doing Gaelic with the children once a week for the remainder of the year, similar to the soccer this gives the children the opportunity to decide whether or not they have an interest in this sport and if they would like to be a part of the school team or join a gaelic club outside of school.
